What is Speedex Connect?
Background — one minute read
🚢
Live shipment visibility, direct from our operations system
Speedex Connect shows the live status of your sea, air, and transit shipments — the same data our operations team works from. Container arrivals, customs clearance progress, free days countdowns, and delivery status, updated in real time. No more waiting for an email reply to know where your cargo is.
🔒
No passwords — sign in with your email
Speedex Connect uses one-time login codes sent to your registered email. There is no password to remember, write down, or lose. Every code works once and expires after 10 minutes. It's simpler for you and safer for your data.
For Clients
1
Signing In — Step by Step
Takes under a minute, works on phone and computer
1
Open the portal
Go to connect.speedexlogistics.com in any browser — phone, tablet, or computer.
2
Enter your email address
Type the email address registered with Speedex (or your username from your access card) and press Send Login Code.
3
Check your email
Within a minute you'll receive a 6-digit code from Speedex Connect. If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.
4
Enter the code
Type the 6 digits into the portal and press Verify & Sign In. That's it — you're in. The code expires after 10 minutes and can only be used once.
5
Prefer one click?
Choose "Email me a one-click login link instead" and we'll send a button that signs you in directly — valid for 1 hour. Welcome emails from Speedex also contain this button.

Your Shipments Dashboard
What you see after signing in
On screenWhat it tells you
Sea / Air / Transit cardsHow many active files you have in each mode, with your latest files, vessel names, and ETAs — and under each sea or transit file, a colour-coded chip per container showing where it is (at port, at ICD, exited, delivered), since when, and the free-days countdown.
⚠ Needs attention stripContainers whose shipping line guarantee date expires within 3 days — so you can act before charges start.
View Full Report buttonsThe complete detailed report for each mode: every file, every container, arrival dates, clearance stage, free days, and delivery status.
History search (inside full reports)Search your completed shipments — by file reference, container number, or bill of lading.
📱
Works on your phone
The dashboard is designed for mobile. Save the portal as a bookmark or add it to your home screen for one-tap access to your shipments.
🔗
Tracking links — sharing status without a login
Your Speedex account manager can also send you a tracking link — a private URL showing your live shipment report with no sign-in needed. Each link is valid for 30 days and shows only your own shipments. Forward it within your team as needed, but treat it like a confidential document.

Staff Access & Modules
How staff accounts work
1
Sign in the same way
Use the Email Code tab with your work email, exactly like clients do. If a director has given you a username and password, the Password tab also works.
2
You see the modules assigned to you
Your account is assigned specific modules — for example Sea Import, Air Import, Transport, or Authority Letters. The menu and home page show only your assigned modules — company-wide figures are visible to directors only — and pages outside your modules are blocked by the server. If you need another module, ask a director.
3
Your access is logged
Sign-ins and account changes are recorded in the system audit log. This protects you and our clients — if something looks wrong, we can trace exactly what happened.

Giving a Client Portal Access
Two clicks — no passwords to send
1
Find the client in the Active Clients list
The Client Logins page is split into two lists: Active Clients (companies with live files right now — these are the ones to onboard) and Other Contacts (history only — no onboarding needed until they have a live file). Use the search box to jump straight to a company.
2
Check the email column
The portal uses the email address on the client's partner record in Odoo. If the column says "no email in Odoo", add the correct contact person's email to the partner record in Odoo first — it appears in the portal within 5 minutes. The Active Clients header shows how many are still missing an email.
3
Click "Email Welcome"
Press Email Welcome next to the client. They receive a branded email with their username, a one-click login button, and instructions for email-code sign-in. Nothing to print, nothing to dictate over the phone.
4
Optional: print an access card
For clients who like something physical, Print Card produces a business-card style handout with the portal URL, their username, and sign-in instructions. Cards contain no passwords, so they're safe to hand over or courier.
5
Send clients the link to this page — connect.speedexlogistics.com/user-guide.html — or use Download / Print PDF above to attach it to your welcome email.
📊
Every client sees only their own data
Client logins are locked to their own company records. A client can never see another importer's files, and no internal costing or margin data is exposed on any client-facing screen.

Security — Three Rules
Please read, whether you're a client or staff
🔑
1. Never share a login code
Speedex will never call, message, or email you asking for your 6-digit code. Anyone who asks for it is not from Speedex. The code is for typing into the portal only.
📧
2. Check the address
Only sign in at connect.speedexlogistics.com. Genuine login emails come from Speedex Connect and link only to that address. If an email looks suspicious, don't click — forward it to ops@speedexlogistics.com.
👤
3. Tell us about people changes
If the person who handles shipments at your company changes, tell your Speedex account manager so we can update the registered email. Staff: report leavers to a director the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions
QI didn't receive my login code.
Check your spam/junk folder first. Codes usually arrive within a minute. You can request a new code after 60 seconds. If nothing arrives, your registered email may be different from the one you're typing — contact ops@speedexlogistics.com and we'll confirm which email is on file.
QMy code says "invalid" or "expired".
Codes expire after 10 minutes and work only once. Press Resend code to get a fresh one, and make sure you're entering the newest code from your inbox.
QCan more than one person at my company use the portal?
The login is linked to your company's registered email address. If several people need access, we recommend a shared mailbox (e.g. imports@yourcompany.com) as the registered email, or ask your account manager about adding contacts.
QI forgot my username.
You don't need it — your email address works in the sign-in box. Your username is also shown in your welcome email and on your access card.
QIs my data safe?
Yes. The portal is read-only over encrypted HTTPS, each client sees only their own shipments, sign-ins are one-time codes (nothing to steal or reuse), and every login is recorded in an audit log.
QWho do I contact for help?
Email ops@speedexlogistics.com or call your Speedex account manager. For urgent shipment matters, contact your operations coordinator directly as usual — the portal complements, never replaces, our team.
